October 30^th	Moral Decisions in Bioethics.Our speaker, Erica Monteferrante, is a PhD student at the University of Montreal in Bioethics
November 27^th	Mental Health. Jillian Ritchie, Manager Community Health Services, CSS Mtl, will be our speaker

2019
January 29^th	Festive Dinner. United Church, Saint Lambert at 5:30 pm. The address is 415 Mercille. Use entrance at the driveway door. For fundraising, members who are attending, are asked to bring small items for sale (DO NOT WRAP), that they no longer need, but believe that other members would want to purchase.Pricing is at: $2.00 per item (or more, since it is a fundraiser). Bring your toonies.
February 26^th	Black History month Speaker: We are delighted to have Sabine Daniel as our speaker for the evening. Sabine is a winner of the Nelson Mandela prize for her work on promoting the black community.
March 26^th	Genealogy. it is always interesting to discover our past ancestors. Gary Schroder, president of the Quebec Family History Society will provide some insights on the subject.
April 30^th	History through our eyes. Our speaker will be Lucinda Chodan, Postmedia Vice-President Editorial and Editor, Montreal Gazette. Her topic will be ‘The Gazette’s Daily Photo Series: What we learn about images of women in the newspaper during the 20th century.’
May 28^th	Under the B …. Dinner and Annual General Meeting: Bingo night, venue to be announced.
